Abstract The first scale of analysis sets to outline a comprehensive and actual overview Alpine brownfields. To this purpose, territorial census existing potentially future sites is developed, integrated by qualitative stakeholder survey addressed national, regional local planning institutions in brownfield-affected contexts. emerging brownfield geography provides ever transnational concrete insight on the incidence industrial decline macro-region, while also suggesting how interpret challenge redevelopment across different contexts situations.
